About Mr. Douglas 

Mr. Douglas was born and raised in Fairhope, AL. He graduated from Fairhope High School in 2004 and moved to Montgomery, AL to pursue a degree in elementary education. He graduated in May 2009 with a B.S. in Elementary Education. He has volunteered with schools throughout Baldwin, Montgomery, and Autauga County. Mr. Douglas interned in the spring of 2009 at Vaughn Road Elementary School in Montgomery, AL in Kindergarten and in 5th grade. Mr. Douglas now lives on the Eastern Shore with his wife, Brandi and dog, Aubie. Mr. Douglas loves children's literature, Auburn Football, chocolate, the beach, and spending time with family and friends! Mr. Douglas also attends Summerdale Church of Christ and co-teaches 3rd - 6th grade Bible class on Wednesday nights with his wife. He taught 5th and 6th grade last year and received Elementary Teacher of the Year at AGCCA. Mr. Douglas is very excited about teaching 1st grade this year!
