LA BBQ – We are planning on ordering hot lunches from local businesses beginning this week. On Monday, January 23, we sent home order forms from LA BBQ. They will offer three lunch choices. The meals will be $3.75 or $5. The order form MUST be turned in with the money on Tuesday to get the meal on Wednesday. If this works out, we will continue this each week. If you need to pay by check, please make the check payable to AGCCA.
SWEETHEART RUN – We will be participating in the Sweetheart Run to raise money for our school. It will be Saturday, February 11, 2012 @ 9:00 AM. It will start at the Hangout in Gulf Shores. The cost is $15-20 to register depending on the length of the race you choose. If we can get 15 people to register, our school will receive $200! There is a 1 mile fun run, a 5K walk or run, and a 10K run. So far we have a few participants in each race so you will not be alone! If you’re interested, please e-mail Miss Denney at Tdenney@gccacademy.com and she’ll give you a form to fill out.
GIRL SCOUTS -- will have their next meeting on Monday, January 30, from 3:15 - 5:00
RE-ENROLLMENT FOR 2012-2013 – Letters were mailed last week regarding re-enrollment for the 2012-2013 school year. Current AGCCA families will receive $100 off of fees if re-enrollment paperwork is turned in and $200 is paid toward the fees by the end of March.
TUMBLEBUS – for PreK through kindergarten students – Tumblebus is scheduled for Thursday, January 26. Cost is $10 for registration and $10 each week they participate.
SPIRIT SHIRTS AND JEANS – Students are encouraged to wear spirit shirts or Caleb’s Field of Dreams shirts on Fridays. For $1, they can also wear jeans.
PIZZA FRIDAY – Bring $1 for each slice of pepperoni or cheese pizza on Friday. Don’t forget to bring a drink.
TSHIRTS/SWEATSHIRTS – For those of you who have recently ordered a t-shirt or sweatshirt, they are in. Please see Mrs. Coxwell or Mr. Butts to pay and pick them up.
UPCOMING NEWSLETTERS – The next newsletter will come out on Wednesday, February 1. This will NOT be e-mailed to you. They will be given to your child to bring home.
